Sena Flip Case for BlackBerry 8700
The 8700c is a snug fit into the Sena Luxury Flip case, ensuring that the device won’t fall out, but it took some serious maneuvering to get the 8700 all the way in. The case is available at Blackberryden.com in Black and Red.
The keyboard and screen are both uncovered, framed by reinforced leather.
This case has a built in magnet to trigger the Blackberry 8700c’s sleeper function so that as soon as the Sena case is closed the device goes to “sleep.”
All side and top ports and keys are easily accessible and there is a back mesh covering that allows the speaker phone function while keeping the phone in the case.
The case closes by concealed magnets at the base of the top flap, securing your BlackBerry 8700 with out a snap or button. It also allows for ease of opening, so easy I could do it with one hand.
The removable clip offers full 360 degree rotation but does not lock in any given position. An extra reinforcement panel around the knob of the clip ensures a secure hold over time. Getting the button to lock-into the holster took some effort.
Overall the Sena is a quality attractive case with a great magnetic closure system. The tight fit was a bit of struggle, but we hope with time and a little breaking in, the case will offer a perfect fit with along with it’s elegant styling.
